Our new article, "Beyond Materiality: Mud as a Living Material in Heritage Preservation," co-authored by Roula El-Khoury, Carine Lteif, and David Aouad, has just been published in Frontiers in Sustainable Cities.

In this paper, we explore the evolving role of mud not just as a construction material, but as a living agent in the preservation of cultural heritage — rethinking its significance for sustainable, resilient urban futures.
